Originally from Kingston, Ontario, this artist has always had a natural sense of style and diverse creative ability such as painting, D.I.Y. projects, photography, and makeup artistry. At a young age, Alexandra immediately started to experiment with different media such as watercolours, charcoal, acrylic, and even sewing.
Alexandra is both an abstract and realistic acrylic painter. Drawing most of her inspiration from nature and using that to create her idyllic landscapes and textural scenes.
Having lived in another country with a different climate (Playa del Carmen, MX.) has lent her a new appreciation for the beauty of the four seasons we have here in Canada.
Living with Epilepsy since a young age, Alexandra’s health journey has continued to expand her creativity and passion for life. Mostly self-taught, she has always taken the opportunity to dip her toes into any artistic learning experience such as colour theory and colour mixing.
Her works are painted with acrylics on birch wood panel, gallery-wrapped canvas and reclaimed wood.
